Kandice Harris | Secretary

Kandice is an experienced political organizer with a background in movement politics, legislative advocacy, fundraising, voter mobilization, and political consulting for progressive campaigns. She is currently the Midwestern Regional Director for Run for Something, a progressive political action committee that recruits and supports young Democrats to run for state and local office. Kandice also works as a trainer for the National Democratic Training Committee where she has completed numerous trainings for candidates, staff, and local leaders in the areas of fundraising and field organizing. As a Young Democrat, Kandice has served as the National Committeeperson for the Young Democrats of Illinois, has been a staffer for several Chicago and statewide campaigns, and is a founding member of the Young Democrats of Chicago. Kandice is a firm believer in the power of grassroots and community driven campaigns and is passionate about empowering diverse voter bases and promoting women of color in campaign leadership. She is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law (JD), a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and resides in Hyde Park.
